Okay, so you've signed up for the playstation army. Good to have you on board.
Soon you'll start wanting to progress through the ranks and work your way up the ladder. It won't be easy. The ranking system works on your karma. Basically, if someone helps you out, gives you advice or is generally a good soldier, exalt them to add to their Karma Bar, found next to their name. If someone jerks you around, blows you out or is generally a terrible soldier, smite them to detract from their Karma.
Using this system, the better a clan member you are, the higher your rank. Be careful too - tick off other clan members and you could end up being demoted. The ranks work as follows: -
0-9 Private 10-19 Private 1st Class 20-29 Lance Corporal 30-39 Corporal 40-49 Sergeant 50-59 2nd Lieutenant 60-69 1st Lieutenant 70-79 Captain 80-89 Major 90+ General
The more karma you have, the more you can do. For instance, a guest cannot post or access posts in the member's section. A Private however, can post on the boards, but still cannot access the members section. I'll work more on the rewards system as we go along.
For those that joined from RA, I've started you off with 10 karma so you have full members access. Anyone starting new, however, will have to start from scratch.
Good luck, have fun, see you online.

No. No. You don't have to stay as privates. You can have your own little tag.....
